(EN)Provided is a light source device having high light use efficiency. Uniform light quantity and uniform polarization in two-dimensional planar lighting are achieved at the same time through reflection and collimation by using a laser light source of single polarization. Thus, two-dimensional planar lighting with uniform polarization is achieved, and light use efficiency can be greatly improved when the lighting is combined with switching which uses polarization of a liquid crystal panel and the like.
(FR)La présente invention concerne un dispositif de source lumineuse doté d'une efficacité d'utilisation de la lumière élevée. Une quantité de lumière et une polarisation uniformes en éclairage planaire bidimensionnel sont obtenues simultanément par réflexion et collimation à l'aide d'une source de lumière laser à polarisation simple. On obtient ainsi un éclairage planaire bidimensionnel à polarisation uniforme et une efficacité d'utilisation de la lumière nettement meilleure lorsque l'éclairage est combiné à une commutation employant la polarisation d'un panneau à cristaux liquides ou similaire.
(JA) 光の利用効率の高い光源装置を提示する。単一偏光のレーザ光源を用い、反射とコリメートを利用して2次元の面状照明において光量の均一化と、偏光の均一化を同時に実現する。これによって偏光のそろった2次元面状照明が実現できるため、液晶パネルなどの偏光を利用したスイッチングと組み合わせた場合に光の利用効率を大幅に向上できる。
