(EN)In one aspect of the invention, a trifocal ophthalmic lens is disclosed that includes an optic having at least one optical surface, and a plurality of diffractive zones that are disposed on a portion of that surface about an optical axis of the optic. At least two of those diffractive zones have different areas so as to cause broadening of optical energy profiles at a near and a far foci of the diffractive zones for generating an intermediate focus.
(FR)Dans un aspect de l'invention, l'invention concerne une lentille ophtalmique trifocale qui comprend un dispositif optique ayant au moins une surface optique et une pluralité de zones diffractives qui sont disposées sur une partie de cette surface autour d'un axe optique du dispositif optique. Au moins deux des zones diffractives comprennent différentes surfaces de façon à provoquer un élargissement des profils d'énergie optique au niveau d'un foyer proche et d'un foyer lointain des zones diffractives afin de générer un foyer intermédiaire.
