(EN)An optical system for a digital light projection system is provided. The optical system comprises a plurality of LED arrays, wherein each LED array comprises a plurality of LEDs. The optical system also comprises an optical concentrator element positioned substantially adjacent to each of the LED arrays, wherein each concentrator element reflects light emitted from the plurality of LEDs within the corresponding LED array. The optical system preferably further comprises a reflective aperture element positioned substantially adjacent to the output surface of each concentrator element. The aperture element includes a reflective surface and an aperture defined by the reflective surface. The reflective surface faces the output surface of each corresponding concentrator element to thereby ultimately provide substantially uniform light which is projected through the aperture.
(FR)L'invention porte sur l'optique d'un système de projection numérique comportant plusieurs groupes de plusieurs DELs et un concentrateur optique par DEL lui étant sensiblement contigu et reflétant la lumière émise par l'ensemble des DELs à l'intérieur du groupe correspondant. Le système optique comprend en outre de préférence un élément à ouverture réfléchissante sensiblement contiguë à la surface de sortie de chaque concentrateur. L'élément à ouverture réfléchissante comporte une surface réfléchissante et une ouverture délimitée par la surface réfléchissante. La surface réfléchissante est face à la surface de sortie de chacun des éléments concentrateurs correspondants, ce qui permet finalement de fournir une lumière sensiblement uniforme projetée à travers l'ouverture.
