(EN)Compression moulding apparatus is described in which the female mould (18) has a vertical passageway (22) through it. The male mould (20) has surfaces (24) for sealingly engaging corresponding surfaces (26) on the female mould. A plunger (28) comprising a shaft (30) and a ring (32) is provided below the female mould. The ring and shaft form a well (34) for receiving a charge (38) of plastics material which is lifted into the female mould by the shaft. The shaft also exerts the moulding pressure.
(FR)L'invention concerne un appareil de moulage par compression dont la forme femelle (18) est traversée par un passage vertical (22). La forme mâle (20) comporte des surfaces (34) s'engageant de manière hermétique dans des surfaces correspondantes (26) de la forme femelle. Sous la forme femelle se trouve un piston (28) avec tige (30) et anneau (32). Anneau e la tige forment un puits (34) reçoivent une charge (38) de matière plastique qui est soulevée dans la forme femelle par la tige. Cette tige exerce également une pression de moulage.
