(EN)A scheduling system and method for moving plural objects through a multipath system described as a freight railway scheduling system. The scheduling system utilizes a resource scheduler to minimize resource exception while at the same time minimizing the global costs associated with the solution. The achievable movement plan can be used to assist in the control of, or to automatically control, the movement of trains through the system. Similar movement planners exist for moving trains in yards or terminals. Coordination is achieved and system efficiency improved by interfacing the line of road and yard planners.
(FR)L'invention concerne un système et un procédé de programmation de déplacement de plusieurs objets via un système multichemin décrit comme système de programmation de transport ferroviaire. Ledit système de programmation utilise un programmateur de ressources pour limiter le recours à des ressources exceptionnelles tout en minimisant les coûts globaux associés à la solution. On peut utiliser ce plan de déplacement réalisable pour contribuer à la commande ou à la commande automatique du déplacement des trains dans le système. Il existe des planificateurs similaires pour déplacer des trains dans des gares de triage ou des gares terminus. La coordination s'effectue et l'efficacité du sytème est améliorée par établissement d'une interface entre des planificateurs de réseau ferré et de triage.
