(EN)The invention provides a method of manufacturing an implantable medical device, the method comprising: (a) disposing a polymer fluid comprising a solvent and a matrix polymer into a forming apparatus for forming a polymeric part; (b) cooling the formed polymeric part upon removal from the apparatus, the cooled polymeric part comprises the polymer and a substantial portion of the solvent from the polymer fluid; and (c) fabricating an implantable medical device from the cooled polymeric part.
(FR)L'invention concerne une méthode pour fabriquer un appareil médical implantable, la méthode consistant à : (a) disposer un fluide polymère qui comprend un solvant et un polymère matrice dans un appareil de moulage pour former une pièce en polymère ; (b) refroidir la pièce en polymère formée au moment où elle est retirée de l'appareil, la pièce en polymère refroidie comprenant le polymère et une partie substantielle du solvant du fluide polymère ; et (c) fabriquer un appareil médical implantable à partir de la pièce en polymère refroidie.
