Tyre comprising a cap with a mid-plane S, two side walls, a first bead of diameter &PHgr;1 intended to be positioned on the outboard side of a vehicle and a second bead, of diameter &PHgr;2, intended to be positioned on the inboard side of a vehicle and which is such that &PHgr;1 > &PHgr;2, characterized in that when said tyre is mounted on its service rim and inflated to its nominal pressure, the mid-plane S of the cap is axially offset towards the first bead relative to the mid-plane B of the beads by a positive or zero distance D.

Pneumat ique comportant un sommet avec un plan médian S, deux flancs, un premier bourrelet, de diamètre &PHgr;1, destiné à être disposé du côté extérieur d'un véhicule et un second bourrelet, de diamètre &PHgr;2, destiné à être disposé du côté intérieur d'un véhicule et tels que &PHgr;1 > &PHgr;2 , caractérisé en ce que lorsque ledit pneumatique est monté sur sa jante de service et gonflé à sa pression nominale, le plan médian S du sommet est décalé axialement vers le premier bourrelet relativement au plan médian B des bourrelets d'une distance D positive ou nulle.
