Hypochlorous acid is economically produced without supply of external electrical energy. Specifically, a photocell composed of a titanium oxide electrode (1) and a counter electrode (2) is placed in an electrolyte solution (3) containing a metal chloride. The titanium oxide electrode (1) is irradiated with light under a circumstance where oxygen can be supplied to the counter electrode (2) of the photocell in the electrolyte solution (3).

La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant de fabriquer de l'acide hypochloreux de façon économique, sans apport d'énergie électrique extérieure. Plus spécifiquement, une cellule photoélectrique composée d'une électrode (1) en oxyde de titane et d'une contre-électrode (2) est placée dans une solution d'électrolyte (3) contenant un chlorure métallique. L'électrode (1) en oxyde de titane est soumise à une irradiation lumineuse dans des conditions d'alimentation en oxygène de la contre-électrode (2) de la cellule photoélectrique dans la solution d'électrolyte (3).

 次亜塩素酸を外部からの電力エネルギーの供給なしに経済的に生成する。これを実現するために、酸化チタン電極1と対向電極2とで構成した光電池を、金属塩化物を含む電解質溶液3中に設置する。電解質溶液3中の光電池の対向電極2への酸素供給が可能な環境下で、酸化チタン電極1に光を照射する。
