Abstract
(EN)
An optically driven actuator (1) includes a crosslinked polymer obtained by crosslinking at least part of the side chains of a condensation polymer, eg a polyester having, on its backbone chain, a photoisomerizable group that undergoes structural change under optical stimulation, eg an azobenzene moiety. The crosslinked polymer deforms reversibly depending on optical stimulation, thereby performing the function of an actuator.

Un actionneur à commande optique (1) inclut un polymère réticulé obtenu par réticulation d'au moins une partie des chaînes latérales d'un polymère de condensation, par exemple d’un polyester comportant, sur sa chaîne principale, un groupement photoisomérisable qui subit un changement structurel sous stimulation optique, par exemple une fonction azobenzène. Le polymère réticulé se déforme de façon réversible en fonction de la stimulation optique, jouant ainsi le rôle d'un actionneur.
