The invention relates to a method of separating, in an aqueous medium, at least one actinide element from one or more lanthanide elements, and employing at least one molecule which complexes the said actinide element to be separated, and a membrane filtration, the said method comprising in succession: a) a step of contacting the aqueous medium of at least one molecule which complexes the said actinide element to be separated, the said molecule in its non-complexed state having a molecular mass lower than the cutoff point of the membrane used, and being capable of forming, with the actinide element to be separated, a complex which comprises the said element and at least two of said complexing molecules and which has a molecular mass at the cutoff point of the membrane; b) a step of passing the aqueous medium over the membrane in order to form on one side a permeate comprising an aqueous effluent which is depleted in terms of the said actinide element, and a retentate which comprises the said complex.

L'invention a trait à un procédé pour séparer, dans un milieu aqueux, au moins un élément actinide d'un ou plusieurs éléments lanthanides mettant en œuvre au moins une molécule complexante dudit élément actinide à séparer et une filtration par membrane, ledit procédé comprenant successivement : a) une étape de mise en contact avec le milieu aqueux d'au moins une molécule complexante dudit élément actinide à séparer, ladite molécule présentant à l'état non complexé une masse moléculaire inférieure au seuil de coupure de la membrane utilisée et étant apte à former avec l'élément actinide à séparer un complexe comprenant ledit élément et au moins deux desdites molécules complexantes et présentant une masse moléculaire au seuil de coupure de la membrane ; b) une étape de passage du milieu aqueux sur la membrane pour former d'un côté un perméat comprenant un effluant aqueux appauvri en ledit élément actinide et un rétentat comprenant ledit complexe.
