(EN)The present invention relates to a method for conducting interlayer motion prediction in encoding or decoding of video signal. The present method sets motion information of an intra-mode macro block of a base layer with motion information of an inter-mode macro block that is vertically adjacent to the intra-mode macro block, derives motion information of a pair of macro blocks adjacent vertically each other from the two macro blocks, and uses the pair of macro blocks in inter-layer motion prediction.
(FR)La présente invention concerne une méthode de prédiction de mouvement inter-couche lors du codage ou du décodage d'un signal vidéo. Ladite méthode consiste à régler des informations de mouvement d'un macrobloc intra-mode d'une couche de base à l'aide d'informations de mouvement d'un macrobloc inter-mode qui est verticalement adjacent au macrobloc intra-mode, à dériver des informations de mouvement d'une paire de macroblocs verticalement adjacents à partir des deux macroblocs, ainsi qu'à utiliser la paire de macroblocs dans la prédiction de mouvement inter-couche.
