Abstract:
(EN) An adaptive motion estimation/compensation device and a method thereof for MB-based illumination change are disclosed. If a macro block mode is determined as a newly designed P_L0_l 6x16_Mean by calculating the sum of an absolute difference, the motion estimation device CAB AC-codes the absolute difference between the pixel mean of a current frame and the pixel mean of a candidate pattern block and transmits the CABAC-coded absolute difference to a pertinent decoder. With the present invention, the transmission amount of the bit stream transmitted to the decoder for decoding can be minimized by maximizing corresponding compressing rate.
(FR) L'invention concerne un dispositif d'estimation compensation du mouvement adaptatif et un procédé associé destiné à un changement d'éclairement fondé sur MB. Si un mode macro-bloc est déterminé comme étant le nouveau P_L0_l 6x16_Mean par calcul de la somme d'un écart, le dispositif d'estimation du mouvement effectue un codage arithmétique binaire adaptatif fondé sur le contexte (CABAC) de l'écart entre la moyenne des pixels d'une trame actuelle et la moyenne des pixels d'un bloc de modèle candidat et transmet l'écart codé en CABAC à un décodeur pertinent. Le dispositif selon l'invention permet de minimiser la quantité de transmission du train binaire transmis au décodeur à des fins de décodage grâce à la maximisation de la vitesse de compression correspondante.
