(EN)A light granular material is placed in the cavity (4) situated between the two panels (2, 3) of the double wall, said light granular material being a porous or microporous material, for example, the grains (5) of which are not bound to one another or to the panels (2, 3). The addition of such a granular material improves in particular the sound insulation of the double wall at low frequencies, around the frequency of respiration of this double wall. This structure is applicable to dividing partition walls for buildings, to soundproofing of vehicles, and to machine cowling.
(FR)Dans la cavité (4), située entre les deux plaques (2, 3) de la double paroi, est placé un matériau granulaire léger, par exemple poreux ou micro-poreux, dont les grains (5) ne sont liés ni entre eux, ni aux plaques (2, 3). L'ajout d'un tel matériau granulaire améliore en particulier l'isolation acoustique de la double paroi aux basses fréquences, autour de la fréquence de respiration de cette double paroi. Cette structure est applicable aux cloisons séparatrices pour bâtiments, à l'insonorisation des véhicules et au capotage de machines.
