(EN)A mobile node, method, apparatus and system for neighbor cell identification and measurements in a wireless network. A first synchronization signal is provided a first base station, wherein the received first synchronization signal is on a predetermined frequency of a transmission bandwidth. Initial synchronization is performed. A second synchronization signal is provided, wherein the second synchronization signal is outside of the predetermined frequency of the transmission bandwidth. Neighbor cell identification based on the received second synchronization signal.
(FR)L'invention concerne un nœud mobile, un procédé, un appareil et un système pour des mesures et une identification de cellules voisines dans un réseau sans fil. Un premier signal de synchronisation est communiqué à une première station de base, le premier signal de synchronisation reçu étant sur une fréquence prédéterminée d'une bande passante de transmission. Une synchronisation initiale est effectuée. Un second signal de synchronisation est communiqué, le second signal de synchronisation étant en dehors de la fréquence prédéterminée de la bande passante de transmission. Une identification de cellules voisines est basée sur le second signal de synchronisation reçu.
