Abstract:
(EN) A self-contained chromatography system is provided and includes a chromatography column, a carrier gas reservoir containing a carrier gas and an analyte stream processing device, wherein the carrier gas reservoir is disposed upstream from the chromatography column and wherein the analyte stream processing device is disposed downstream from the chromatography column. A method for implementing the self-contained chromatography system is also provided and includes generating a first system pressure upstream from the chromatography column and a second system pressure downstream from the chromatography column to cause the carrier gas to flow between the carrier gas reservoir and the analyte stream processing device. The method further includes combining a sample material with the carrier gas, introducing the combined sample to the chromatography column to generate the analyte stream and processing the analyte stream via the analyte stream processing device.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système de chromatographie autonome comprenant : une colonne de chromatographie, un réservoir de gaz vecteur contenant un gaz vecteur, et un dispositif de traitement d'un courant d'analyte, système caractérisé en ce que le réservoir de gaz vecteur est disposé en amont de la colonne de chromatographie, et en ce que le dispositif de traitement du courant d'analyte est monté en aval de la colonne de chromatographie. L'invention concerne également un procédé de mise en oeuvre du système de chromatographie autonome, procédé consistant à générer une première pression du système, en amont de la colonne de chromatographie, et une seconde pression du système, en aval de la colonne de chromatographie, de manière à amener le gaz vecteur à circuler entre le réservoir de gaz vecteur et le dispositif de traitement du courant d'analyte. Le procédé consiste en outre à combiner un produit échantillon avec le gaz vecteur, à introduire l'échantillon combiné dans la colonne de chromatographie, en vue de générer le courant d'analyte, et à traiter le courant d'analyte au moyen du dispositif de traitement du courant d'analyte.
