(EN)The present invention provides a process for the epoxidation of propene which comprises reacting propene with hydrogen peroxide in the presence of methanol as solvent and a titanium zeolite catalyst, the process further comprising separating propylene oxide from the reaction mixture to obtain a mixture comprising methanol, water, at least one carboxylic acid and at least one carbonyl compound, wherein the at least one carboxylic acid is at least partially neutralized, said process optionally comprising a hydrogenation stage.
(FR)La présente invention concerne un procédé d'époxydation de propène comprenant la mise en réaction du propène avec du peroxyde d'hydrogène en présence de méthanol en tant que solvant et d'un catalyseur à base de zéolithe de titane, ledit procédé comprenant également la séparation de l'oxyde de propylène du mélange réactionnel afin d'obtenir un mélange comprenant du méthanol, de l'eau, au moins un acide carboxylique et au moins un composé carbonyle, ledit ou lesdits acides carboxyliques étant au moins partiellement neutralisés, ledit procédé comprenant éventuellement une étape d'hydrogénation.
