An on-line measuring system for the degree of transformation includes a U-shaped yoke member having both ends extending toward a surface of a metallic material; first and second magnetic members arranged at both ends of the yoke member, respectively; a magnetic flux sensor for detecting a leakage magnetic flux flowing along a magnetic circuit composed of the first magnetic member, the metallic material, the second magnetic member and the yoke member; and an analyzer for measuring the degree of transformation on the metallic material according to the intensity of the detected leakage magnetic flux by using a preset relationship between the degree of transformation on the metallic material and a leakage magnetic flux intensity. The degree of transformation can be precisely measured even in a hostile environment such as high temperature in the cooling heat treatment.

Système de mesure en ligne du degré de transformation, comprenant les composants suivants : étrier en forme de U dont les deux extrémités sont tournées vers une surface métallique; premier et second éléments magnétiques disposés sur chacune des extrémités de l'étrier; détecteur de flux magnétique s'écoulant le long d'un circuit magnétique composé du premier élément magnétique, du matériau métallique, du second élément magnétique et de l'étrier; et analyseur mesurant le degré de transformation du matériau métallique d'après de l'intensité du flux magnétique de fuite détecté au moyen d'une relation préétablie entre le degré de transformation sur le matériau métallique et une intensité de fuite du flux magnétique. Le degré de transformation peut être mesuré avec précision même dans un environnement hostile tel qu'une température élevée au cours de traitement thermique de refroidissement..
