An L-amino acid is produced by culturing a microorganism of the family Enterobacteriaceae which has the ability to produce an L-amino acid and which has been modified so as to increase the amount of expression of one or more genes selected from the evgA gene, gadE gene, or ydeO gene that encodes a transcription factor involved in the EvgAS two-component system regulon in a medium to produce and accumulate an L-amino acid in the medium or in cells, and collecting the L-amino acid from the medium or cells.

La présente invention concerne un procédé de production d'un acide L-aminé. Selon ledit procédé, un micro-organisme de la famille des Enterobacteriaceae, capable de produire un acide L-aminé et modifié de manière à augmenter la quantité d'expression d'un ou plusieurs gènes choisis parmi le gène evgA, le gène gadE ou le gène ydeO codant pour un facteur de transcription mis en jeu dans le régulon à deux composants EvgAS, est cultivé dans un milieu et il produit un acide L-aminé qui s'accumule dans le milieu ou dans les cellules. L'acide L-aminé est ensuite recueilli dans le milieu ou dans les cellules.
