A timing generator outputs a second-cycle signal having a desired phase difference from a first-cycle signal by superposing voltage on a control voltage of a voltage control oscillation unit of a PLL circuit generating the second-cycle signal. The timing generator includes an initialize unit for measuring a timing shift gain indicating the ratio of the timing shift amount against the change of the superposed voltage and a voltage generation unit for generating a superposed voltage according to the desired phase difference and the timing shift gain. The initialize unit matches the phase of the first-cycle signal with the phase of the second-cycle signal, successively changes the superposed voltage, detects a change amount of superposed voltage when the phase of the first-cycle signal coincides with the phase of the second-cycle signal again, and calculates the timing shift gain according to the change amount of the superposed voltage and the change amount of the phase of the second-cycle signal.

Cette invention concerne un générateur de synchronisation qui produit un signal de second cycle avec une différence de phase souhaitée à partir d’un signal de premier cycle par superposition d’une tension sur une tension de commande d’un oscillateur commandé par tension d’un circuit PLL générant le signal de second cycle. Le générateur de synchronisation comprend une unité d’initialisation qui mesure un gain de déphasage indiquant le rapport de la quantité de déphasage à la variation de la tension superposée, et un générateur de tension qui génère une tension superposée selon la différence de phase souhaitée et le gain de déphasage. L’unité d’initialisation compare la phase du signal de premier cycle à celle du signal de second cycle, modifie en conséquence la tension superposée, détecte une variation de la tension superposée lorsque la phase du signal de premier cycle coïncide à nouveau avec celle du signal de second cycle, et calcule le gain de déphasage selon la variation de la tension superposée et celle de la phase du signal de second cycle.

 第1周期信号に対して所望の位相差を有する第2周期信号を、第2周期信号を生成するPLL回路の電圧制御発振部の制御電圧に電圧を重畳することにより出力するタイミング発生器であって、重畳電圧の変化に対するタイミングシフト量の割合を示すタイミングシフトゲインを測定するイニシャライズ部と、当該所望の位相差と、タイミングシフトゲインとに基づいて、重畳電圧を生成する電圧生成部とを有し、イニシャライズ部は、第1周期信号の位相と第2周期信号の位相とを一致させ、更に重畳電圧を順次変化させ、第1周期信号の位相と第2周期信号の位相とが再度一致したときの重畳電圧の変化量を検出し、重畳電圧の変化量、及び第2周期信号の位相の変化量に基づいて、タイミングシフトゲインを算出する。
