There is provided an optical communication network including a parent station and a plurality of child stations connected via an optical transmission path for performing bidirectional communication between the parent station and the child stations. The child stations are classified into a plurality of groups. In downstream communication, one downstream wavelength is allocated as the downstream communication wavelength for each of the groups. The parent station performs communication with child stations of the same group by using the downstream wavelength and the same communication method. In the upstream communication, all the child stations performs communication of an upstream signal by using the single upstream wavelength as the upstream communication wavelength for the parent station. The downstream signal from the parent station is delivered for each of the downstream wavelengths to the groups and the upstream signals from the child stations are multiplexed and sent to the parent station.

La présente invention concerne un réseau de communication optique qui comprend une station parent et une pluralité de stations enfant reliées via un parcours de transmission optique pour réaliser une communication bidirectionnelle entre la station parent et les stations enfant. Les stations enfant sont classées selon une pluralité de groupes. Dans une communication descendante, une longueur d'onde descendante est allouée sous forme de longueur d'onde de communication descendante pour chacun des groupes. La station parent réalise la communication avec les stations enfant du même groupe en utilisant la longueur d'onde descendante et le même procédé de communication. Dans la communication montante, toutes les stations enfant réalisent la communication d'un signal montant à l'aide de la longueur d'onde montante unique sous forme de longueur d'onde de communication montante pour la station parent. Le signal descendant de la station parent est délivré pour chacune des longueurs d'onde descendante vers les groupes et les signaux montants des stations enfant sont multiplexés et envoyés à la station parent.

 親局と複数の子局が光伝送路を介して接続され、親局と複数の子局間で双方向通信を行う光通信ネットワークシステムであって、前記複数の子局が、複数のグループに分類され、下り方向の通信においては、下り通信用波長として前記各グループに対して個別の一つの下り方向用波長が割り当てられ、前記親局が同一グループの子局に対しては前記下り方向用波長を用いて同一の通信方式により下り信号の通信を行い、上り方向の通信においては、上り通信用波長として全ての子局が親局に対して単一の上り方向用波長を用いて上り信号の通信を行い、前記親局からの下り信号を下り方向用波長毎に前記グループに分配するとともに前記複数の子局からの上り信号を合波して前記親局に送信する。
