(EN)The present invention is directed to a method for automatic detection and segmentation of a target anatomical structure in received three dimensional (3D) volumetric medical images using a database of a set of volumetric images with expertly delineated anatomical structures. A 3D anatomical structure detection and segmentation module is trained offline by learning anatomical structure appearance using the set of expertly delineated anatomical structures. A received volumetric image for the anatomical structure of interest is searched online using the offline learned 3D anatomical structure detection and segmentation module.
(FR)L'invention porte sur un procédé de détection et de segmentation automatiques d'une structure anatomique cible dans des images médicales volumétriques tridimensionnelles (3D) reçues au moyen d'une base de données comprenant un ensemble d'images volumétriques possédant des structures anatomiques délimitées avec précision. On se forme hors connexion sur un module de segmentation et de détection de structure anatomique 3D par l'apprentissage d'un aspect de la structure anatomique, en utilisant l'ensemble de structures anatomiques délimitées avec précision. On recherche en ligne une image volumétrique reçue de la structure anatomique d'intérêt en utilisant le module de segmentation et de détection de la structure anatomique 3D acquise hors connexion.
