(EN)Compensation for a switching regulator is attained by developing a compensation signal for a switching regulator that is independent of changes in the switching frequency. The regulator operational frequency is established in accordance with a repetitive ramp signal of constant slope and adjustable frequency. The voltage of the ramp signal is monitored and an offset signal is derived therefrom, The peak value of the ramp signal, detected during monitoring, is used to derive the offset signal. Initiation of the compensation occurs at the same duty cycle point during each switching cycle and thus is independent of switching frequency. The compensation signal may have a linear or non-linear slope.
(FR)Selon l'invention, on réalise la correction d'un régulateur de commutation en développant, pour le régulateur, un signal de correction non tributaire des changements de la fréquence de commutation. La fréquence de fonctionnement du régulateur est établie conformément à un signal de rampe répétitif de pente constante et de fréquence réglable. La tension du signal de rampe est contrôlée et un signal de décalage est calculé à partir de celle-ci. La valeur de crête du signal de rampe, détectée lors du contrôle, est utilisée pour calculer le signal de décalage. Le démarrage de la correction intervient au même point du cycle de travail, au cours de chaque cycle de commutation et, de ce fait, est indépendant de la fréquence de commutation. Le signal de correction peut présenter une pente linéaire ou non linéaire.
