(EN)The present invention relates to a process to remove a non-biodegradable compound from an aqueous composition comprising the following steps (i) reacting insoluble Mn(III) and/or Mn(IV) compounds with one or more non-biodegradable compounds at a pH in the range of 1 to 7.5 to yield a Mn(II) compound and one or more biodegradable fragments, and (ii) oxidizing the Mn(II) compound to (a) Mn(III) and/or Mn(IV) compound(s) in the presence of microorganisms at a pH in the range of 7 to 10, wherein the microorganisms are present in the reaction mixture of step (i) and step (ii) of the process.
(FR)L'invention concerne un procédé d'élimination d'un composé non biodégradable dans une composition aqueuse, ce procédé consistant à (i) faire réagir des composés de Mn(III) et/ou Mn(IV) insolubles avec un ou plusieurs composés non biodégradables à un pH compris entre 1 et 7,5 pour produire un composé de Mn(II) et un ou plusieurs fragments biodégradables et (ii) oxyder le composé de Mn(II) pour obtenir un ou plusieurs composés de Mn(III) et/ou Mn(IV) en présence de micro-organismes à un pH compris entre 7 et 10, lesdits micro-organismes étant présents dans le mélange réactionnel de l'étape (i) et de l'étape (ii) du procédé.
