(EN)The present invention is directed to a method for detecting colorectal adenoma and/or colorectal carcinoma comprising the steps: a) providing an isolated sample material which has been taken from an individual, b) determining the level of an endoplasmin fragment or a derivative thereof in said isolated sample material, c) comparing the determined level of an endoplasmin fragment or a derivative thereof with one or more reference values. The invention is further directed to a method for discriminating between colorectal adenoma and colorectal carcinoma as well as to a method for monitoring the development and/or course of colorectal adenoma and/or colorectal carcinoma and/or the treatment of colorectal adenoma and/or colorectal carcinoma. Moreover, the invention is directed to a test system and an array for use in these methods. Furthermore, the invention is directed to the use of an endoplasmin fragment as a biomarker for a detection of colorectal adenoma and/or colorectal carcinoma in an individual. Further, the invention is directed to a method for determining the effectiveness of a compound in the treatment colorectal adenoma and/or colorectal carcinoma.
(FR)L'invention concerne une méthode de détection d'adénome et/ou de carcinome colorectal qui comprend les étapes consistant : a) à utiliser un matériau d'échantillon isolé prélevé sur un individu ; b) à déterminer le niveau d'un fragment d'endoplasmine ou d'un dérivé de celui-ci dans ledit matériau d'échantillon isolé ; c) à comparer le niveau déterminé d'un fragment d'endoplasmine ou d'un dérivé de celui-ci à une ou plusieurs valeurs de référence. L'invention concerne également une méthode permettant d'établir une distinction entre l'adénome colorectal et le carcinome colorectal ainsi qu'une méthode permettant de contrôler le développement et/ou l'évolution de l'adénome colorectal et/ou du carcinome colorectal et/ou le traitement de l'adénome colorectal et/ou du carcinome colorectal. L'invention concerne également un système d'essai et un ensemble à utiliser dans lesdites méthodes. L'invention concerne également l'utilisation d'un fragment d'endoplasmine en tant que biomarqueur pour la détection d'un adénome colorectal et/ou d'un carcinome colorectal chez un individu. L'invention concerne en outre une méthode permettant de déterminer l'efficacité d'un composé dans le traitement de l'adénome colorectal et/ou du carcinome colorectal.
