Abstract:
(EN) An automated system collects information related to various factors that affect fuel costs, and determines an optimal amount of fuel to be loaded on an aircraft. Information related to an aircraft's fuel efficiency is collected from the aircraft; price information is collected for the stops made by the aircraft; and flight plan information is collected for each flight. The collected information is used to determine or estimate the fuel requirements of the aircraft and an optimal amount of fuel to load onto the aircraft at a location.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un système automatique recueillant des informations portant sur divers facteurs affectant les achats de carburant, et calculant la quantité optimale de carburant à faire livrer à un avion. L'information portant sur la consommation de l'avion en carburant est recueillie directement sur l'avion. L'information concernant les prix est recueillie en fonction des escales de l'avion. Enfin, on recueille les informations de plan de vol pour chaque vol. A partir de ces information, on peut calculer ou évaluer les besoins en carburant de l'avion, ainsi que la quantité optimale de carburant à faire livrer à une escale.
