Abstract:
(EN) LCST polymers are disclosed with terminal alkoxysilane groups -Si (OR1) xRy, or with alkoxysilane groups -Si (OR1) xRy in the side chains relative to the main chain, in which R1 stands for an alkyl radical with 1-6 carbon atoms, y can take the values 0, 1 and 2 and x + y = 3. The LCST polymers can be cross-linked by a condensation reaction of the alkoxysilane groups. The LCST polymers can thus be used to produce coatings which strongly adhere to surfaces. These coatings are not contaminated with radical starters, and therefore cannot initiate premature hardening, for example when incorporated into powder paints. Also disclosed are processes for producing the same and their use for coating particles and non-particulate substrate surfaces.
(FR) L'invention concerne des polymères LCST comportant des groupes alcoxysilane -Si(OR1)xR1y situés en fin de chaîne et/ou sur les côtés de la chaîne principale, R1 représentant un groupe alkyle comportant 1 à 6 atomes de carbone, y pouvant prendre la valeur 0, 1 ou 2 et la somme de x et de y étant égale à 3. Ces polymères LCST peuvent être réticulés par l'intermédiaire d'une réaction de condensation des groupes alcoxysilane. Des revêtements présentant une très forte adhérence sur les surfaces peuvent ainsi être produits à partir de ces polymères LCST. De tels revêtements ne sont pas contaminés par des initiateurs radicalaires, si bien qu'ils ne peuvent pas initier de durcissement prématuré lorsqu'ils sont incorporés par exemple dans des peintures en poudre. L'invention concerne en outre des procédés de production de ces polymères LCST et l'utilisation desdits polymères comme revêtement de particules et de surfaces de substrats non particulaires.
(DE) Beschrieben werden LCST-Polymere mit endständigen und/oder zur Hauptkette seitenständigen Alkoxysilangruppen -Si (OR1) xR1y , wobei R1 für einen Alkylrest mit 1 bis 6 Kohlenstoffatomen steht, y die Werte 0, 1 und 2 annehmen kann und ferner gilt: x + y = 3. Die LCST-Polymere lassen sich über eine Kondensationsreaktion der Alkoxysilangruppen vernetzen. Dadurch können aus den LCST-Polymeren Beschichtungen erzeugt werden, die sehr stark an Oberflächen haften. Derartige Beschichtungen sind nicht durch Radikalstarter verunreinigt, sodass sie bei Einarbeitung beispielsweise in Pulverlacke keine vorzeitige Aushärtung initiieren können. Beschrieben werden ferner Verfahren zu deren Herstellung sowie deren Verwendung zur Beschichtung von Partikeln und nicht-partikulären Substratoberflächen.
