(EN)Porous track membranes are produced by exposing a polymeric film to a bombardment of heavy ions to provide the film with a track density, and etching pores into the resulting tracked film with an etching solution to provide the film with a density of the pores corresponding to the track density under conditions to maintain turbulent flow. An alkaline etching solution is used that contains salts of alkali metals in sufficient concentration to increase the boiling point of the resulting alkali-metal-containing solution to temperatures in excess of about 100 up to about 150° C.
(FR)Selon l'invention, des membranes à traces poreuses sont produites par exposition d'un film polymère à un bombardement d'ions lourds afin d'assurer au film une densité de traces, et par attaque chimique de pores dans le film tracé obtenu à l'aide d'une solution d'attaque chimique afin d'assurer au film une densité des pores correspondant à la densité de traces dans des conditions permettant de maintenir un écoulement turbulent. Une solution d'attaque chimique alcaline est utilisée, laquelle contient des sels de métaux alcalins en une concentration suffisante afin d'augmenter le point d'ébullition de la solution contenant des métaux alcalins obtenue à des températures comprises entre environ 100 et environ 150 °C.
