(EN)Isolated nucleic acids encoding T2R76 polypeptides, recombinants expressed T2R76 polypeptides, heterologous expression systems for recombinant expression of T2R76 polypeptides, assay methods employing the same, and methods for altering taste perception via administration of a T2R76 modulator. These T22R76 polypeptides can be expressed alone or co-expressed with another T2R polypeptide, preferably a different human T2R polypeptide. These T2R76 polypeptides specifcally respond to bitter ligands including brucine and propylthiouracil (PROP) and therefore can be used in assays that identify compounds that modulate, preferably block bitter taste.
(FR)La présente invention concerne des polypeptides T2R76 codant pour des acides nucléiques isolés, des recombinants exprimés par des polypeptidesT2R76, des systèmes d'expression hétérologue pour l'expression recombinante de polypeptides T2R76, des techniques de dosage utilisant ces polypeptides et des techniques permettant de modifier la perception du goût via l'administration d'un modulateur T2R76. Ces polypeptides T22R76 peuvent être exprimés seuls ou co-exprimés avec un autre polypeptide T2R, de préférence un polypeptide T2R humain différent.
