Abstract:
(EN) An apparatus for use in obtaining a value from a device includes a first comparator (19) to receive a reference high signal (Voh) and a device signal (DUT signal 25), where the first comparator provides a first output signal (27) to indicate whether the device signal is above or below the reference high signal (Voh), and a second comparator (20) to receive a reference low signal (VoI) and the device signal (DUT signal 25), where the second comparator provides a second output signal (29) to indicate whether the device signal is above or below the reference low signal (VoI). Also included in the apparatus is circuitry (computer 14) to adjust at least one of the reference high signal (Voh) and the reference low signal (VoI) based on the first output signal and the second output signal, and to output the value if a difference (21 ) between the reference high signal and the reference low signal meets a predetermined criterion, the value being based on the difference.
(FR) Appareil permettant de déterminer une valeur à partir d'un dispositif, comprenant : premier comparateur qui reçoit un signal de référence élevé et un signal de dispositif, ce comparateur fournissant un premier signal de sortie indiquant si le signal de dispositif est supérieur ou inférieur au signal de référence élevé, et second comparateur qui reçoit un signal de référence faible et un signal de dispositif, ce comparateur fournissant un second signal de sortie indiquant si le signal de dispositif est supérieur ou inférieur au signal de référence faible. L'appareil comprend aussi des circuits (i) permettant de régler l'un ou l'autre des deux signaux de référence sur la base du premier signal de sortie et du second signal de sortie, et (ii) permettant de fournir la valeur si une différence entre les deux signaux de référence répond à un critère préétabli, cette valeur reposant sur la différence.
