Abstract:
(EN) Method and system for passively detecting wires from a mobile transport system is provided. The method includes, pre-processing a digital image taken from a digital camera of the transport system, wherein the pre-processing is performed by a pre-processing module to reduce non-wire like clutter from the digital image,- identifying pixels that can be classified as wire like by using a segment finder module on the digital image that has been pre- processed by the pre-processing module; and linking the identified pixels to determine if a wire like structure is present, wherein a linker module links the pixels that can be classified as wire like, to generate a wire overlay.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système et une méthode de détection passive de fils à partir d'un système mobile de transport. La méthode comprend le prétraitement d'une image numérique du système de transport prise par une caméra numérique, le prétraitement étant réalisé par un module de prétraitement pour réduire un encombrement de type non-fil de l'image numérique, l'identification des pixels pouvant être classés en tant que de type fil au moyen d'un module de recherche de segment sur l'image numérique qui a été traitée par le module de prétraitement; et la liaison des pixels identifiés pour déterminer si une structure de type fil est présente, un module de liaison liant les pixels pouvant être classés comme de type fil pour générer une couche de recouvrement de fils.
