Abstract:
(EN) A method and apparatus of encoding and decoding an audio signal are disclosed. A channel of an audio data frame is subdivided into a plurality of blocks hierarchically at one or more block switching levels, where each block results from a subdivision of a superordinate block of double length. Then, block switching information is generated. The block switching information includes a series of information bits representing how the blocks are subdivided at the block switching levels, and a length of the block switching information is determined based on a number of the block switching levels.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil de codage et de décodage d'un signal audio. Un canal d'une trame de données audio est subdivisé en une pluralité de blocs de manière hiérarchique à un ou plusieurs niveaux de commutation de blocs où chaque bloc est le résultat d'une subdivision d'un bloc surordonné de double longueur. Alors, des informations de commutation de blocs sont générées. Les informations de commutation de blocs contiennent une série de bits d'informations représentant la façon dont les blocs sont subdivisés aux niveaux de commutation des blocs, et une longueur d'informations de commutation des blocs est déterminée sur la base d'un nombre de niveaux de commutation de blocs.
