Abstract:
(EN) Disclosed is an exhaust gas purifying catalyst excellent in flammability. Specifically disclosed is an exhaust gas purifying catalyst (1) comprising a catalyst base (3), and a catalyst coat layer (5) formed on the catalyst base (3) and containing a noble metal and a fire-resistant inorganic oxide. This exhaust gas purifying catalyst (1) is characterized in that an upstream inner layer (17) contains a cerium-zirconium complex oxide having a composition ratio of CeO2 of 50-95 wt% and an upstream outer layer (15) contains a cerium-zirconium complex oxide having a composition ratio of ZrO2 of 50-95 wt%. The exhaust gas purifying catalyst (1) is further characterized in that Rh is contained as a noble metal in the upstream outer layer (15) and a downstream portion (13), and the amount of Rh contained in the upstream outer layer (15) is more than the amount of Rh contained in the downstream portion (13).
(FR) Cette invention concerne un catalyseur de purification des gaz d’échappement ayant une excellente inflammabilité. Plus spécifiquement, cette invention est un catalyseur de purification des gaz d’échappement (1) comprenant une base catalytique (3) et une couche de revêtement catalytique (5) formée sur la base catalytique (3) et contenant un métal noble et un oxyde non organique résistant au feu. Ce catalyseur de purification des gaz d’échappement (1) se caractérise en ce qu’une couche interne en amont (17) contient un oxyde complexe de cerium-zirconium ayant un rapport de composition de CeO2 de 50-95 wt% et une couche externe en amont (15) qui contient un oxyde complexe de cerium-zirconium ayant un rapport de composition de ZrO2 de 50-95 wt%. Le catalyseur de purification de gaz d’échappement (1) se caractérise en outre en ce que Rh est contenu en tant que métal noble dans la couche externe en amont (15) et une partie en aval (13), et en ce que la quantité de Rh contenue dans la couche externe en amont (15) est plus importante que la quantité de Rh contenue dans la partie en aval (13).
