Abstract:
(EN) A method and application for selecting a network from one or more candidate networks is disclosed. Information is gathered from one or more database relating to each of the one or more candidate networks and is harmonized in relation to an associated network type. The harmonized information is evaluated to allocate a weight to each of the candidate networks. The weight represents the desirability of each of the candidate networks. The required resources to connect to each of the candidate networks are determined from information contained within the service-provider database, from information obtained by the end-user, and by self-adaptive learning algorithms. At least one of the candidate networks is selected based on the allocated weight of the candidate network and the application attempts to connect to the candidate network. The method and application incorporates the ability to control and integrate a plurality of services on a user device via the candidate network.
(FR) L'invention porte sur un procédé et une application permettant de sélectionner un réseau parmi au moins un réseau candidat. On collecte des informations à partir d'au moins un base de données relative à chaque réseau candidat puis on les harmonise en fonction d'un type de réseau associé. On évalue les informations harmonisées pour attribue une pondération à chaque réseau candidat. La pondération représente la désirabilité de chaque réseau candidat. On détermine les ressources requises pour connecter chaque réseau candidat à partir des informations contenues dans la base de données fournissant les services, à partir des informations obtenues par l'utilisateur final, et au moyen d'algorithmes d'apprentissage auto-adaptatifs. On sélectionne au moins un des réseaux candidats en fonction de la pondération attribuée du réseau candidat et l'application tente de connecter le réseau candidat. Le procédé et l'application prévoient la possibilité de commander et d'intégrer une pluralité de services sur un dispositif utilisateur via le réseau candidat.
