Abstract:
(EN) A process of dry powder coating a thermo-curing resin onto a heat sensitive substrate such as chip board, fibreboard or wood is disclosed. The process requires the bare substrate (1) to be coated with the uncured powder (1') and cured by irradiation with infrared in a curing oven (3). The curing oven uses ceramic glass elements (5) as the source of infrared radiation. The process may also be applied advantageously to components of heat insensitive material such as steel.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé d'application d'un revêtement de résine thermodurcissable se présentant sous forme de poudre sèche sur un substrat thermosensible tel qu'un carton gris, un panneau de fibres ou du bois. Le procédé exige que le substrat nu (1) soit recouvert d'une poudre non durcie (1') et soit durci par irradiation aux infrarouges dans une étuve à durcir (3). L'étuve à durcir utilise des éléments de verre céramique (5) comme source de rayonnement infrarouge. Le procédé peut également être appliqué, de manière avantageuse, sur des composants d'un matériau thermosensible tel que l'acier.
