Abstract:
(EN) The long term stability of fire resistant laminated glazings comprising a silicate based interlayer is improved by the introduction of a particulate material which absorbs hydrogen into the interlayer. The particulate material is preferably a metal such as nickel, platinum and palladium. The size of the particles is preferably in the range 15 to 70nm. The presence of from 1 to 20 ppm of material improves the stability of the interlayer when exposed to UV radiation.
(FR) La présente invention concerne la stabilité à long terme de glaçages stratifiés résistant au feu comprenant une couche intercalaire à base de silicate, qui est améliorée par l'introduction d'un matériau particulaire qui absorbe l'hydrogène dans la couche intercalaire. Le matériau particulaire est de préférence un métal tel que le nickel, le platine et le palladium. La taille des particules est de préférence dans la gamme de 15 à 70 nm. La présence de 1 à 20 ppm du matériau améliore la stabilité de la couche intercalaire lorsqu’elle est exposée au rayonnement UV.
