Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to capacitive rain sensors. The inventive rain sensors comprise electrodes and conductors that supply the latter. The sensors are placed on one side of the window panel that is not exposed to the rain. They are characterized in that the conductors have small dimensions compared to those of the electrodes and are also as close as possible to one another so that their own capacitance does not create a significant interfering signal with regard to the signal of the electrodes. The inventive rain sensors are primarily used on motor vehicle windshields.
(FR) La présente invention est relative aux détecteurs capacitifs de pluie. Les détecteurs selon l'invention comprennent des électrodes et des conducteurs alimentant celles-ci. Ces détecteurs sont disposés sur une face du vitrage non exposée à la pluie. Ils sont caractérisés en ce que les conducteurs sont de petites dimensions par rapport à celles des électrodes, et sont aussi proches que possible les uns des autres, pour que leur capacité propre n'induise pas de signal parasite significatif par rapport au signal des électrodes. Les détecteurs de pluie selon l'invention sont utilisés notamment sur les pare-brise automobile.
