Abstract:
(EN) The present invention is directed towards an antenna control arrangement (10) for a mobile terminal, said antenna control arrangement (10) comprising: -an antenna block (1 ) for receiving and transmitting RF signals, said block comprising N antennas, having different antenna patterns, or an antenna having N selectable antenna patterns and N inputs, where N is two or more, -a switching unit (2) for switching RF power to a selected number of said selectable antennas or antenna patterns in transmitting mode (TX) and reception mode (RX) depending on selection, and linked thereto - a receiving unit (3) for receiving RF signals from said N antennas or antenna patterns, and linked thereto -a comparator unit (4) for comparing and selecting the RF signals with the strongest RF level, and linked thereto -a controller unit (12) for controlling -an antenna control unit (5) arranged to provide switching signals to the switching unit (2) for switching RF power to the selected number of said selectable antennas in transmitting (TX) mode and reception mode (RX) depending on input from the controller unit (12).
(FR) L'invention porte sur un système (10) de commande d'antennes pour terminal mobile, comportant: un bloc d'antennes (1) d'émission/réception de signaux RF à N antennes de différentes configurations ou à une seule antenne à N configurations sélectionnables et N entrées, N étant deux ou plus; une unité de commutation (2) de la puissance RF sur le numéro de l'antenne sélectionnée ou de la configuration d'antenne sélectionnée en mode émission (TX) ou en mode réception (RX) selon la sélection; et lui étant reliée, une unité (3) de réception des signaux RF provenant des N antennes ou configurations d'antenne; et lui étant reliée, une unité de comparaison (4) comparant et sélectionnant les signaux RF les plus forts; et lui étant relié une unité de gestion (12) gérant une unité de commande d'antenne (5) fournissant des signaux de commutation à l'unité de commutation (2) pour commuter la puissance RF sur le numéro sélectionné des antennes sélectionnables en passant en mode émission (TX) ou en mode réception (RX) en fonction des ordres (12) de l'unité de gestion (12).
