(EN)A method of investigating a mineral sample (2) comprises the steps of carrying out at least one thermoluminescence measurement with the mineral sample (2), determining a thermoluminescence parameter derived from a result of the thermoluminescence measurement, and evaluating the thermoluminescence parameter for classifying the mineral sample (2) as being artificially coloured or naturally coloured. Furthermore, an investigation device (1) for investigating a mineral sample is described.
(FR)La présente invention concerne un procédé d'examen d'un échantillon minéral (2). En l'occurrence, on effectue une mesure de thermoluminescence concernant l'échantillon (2). On tire ensuite du résultat de la mesure un paramètre de thermoluminescence, puis on évalue le paramètre de thermoluminescence de façon à déterminer si l'échantillon (2) est artificiellement ou naturellement coloré. L'invention concerne également un dispositif d'examen (1) correspondant.
