(EN)A method of increasing cell proliferation by modulating levels of EVI and related genes. Activation of EVI-1, PRDM16, or SETBP1 can increase the proliferation rate, self renewal and/or in vitro and/or in vivo survival and/or engraftment of human cells, either in vitro or in vivo. The gene modulation can be performed by various means, including traditional cloning methods and retroviral-based gene activation methods. The method can also be used to more efficiently deliver gene-corrected cells to a patient in need of treatment.
(FR)Procédé d'augmentation de la prolifération cellulaire par modulation des niveaux de EVI et des gènes associés. L'activation de EVI-1, PRDM16 ou SETBP1 peut augmenter la vitesse de prolifération, assurer un renouvellement automatique et/ou une survie et/ou une greffe in vitro et/ou in vivo de cellules humaines, soit in vitro ou in vivo. La modulation génétique peut être réalisée de différentes manières, y compris par clonage classique et activation génétique à rétrovirus habituelle. Ce procédé peut également servir à apporter de manière plus efficace des cellules à gènes corrigés à un malade.
