Abstract:
(EN) The present invention relates to methods for determining the effectiveness of one or more agents for treating one or more disorders associated with aberrant cellular proliferation. Screening assays for the discovery of agents that alter eIF2&agr; phosphorylation, inhibit translation initiation and/or inhibit aberrant cellular proliferation are also provided.
(FR) L'invention concerne des procédés qui permettent de déterminer l'efficacité d'au moins un agent destiné à traiter au moins un trouble associé à la prolifération de cellules aberrantes. Des essais biologiques sont appliqués pour déterminer les agents qui modifient la phosphorylation de eIF2a, et qui inhibent la translation et/ou la prolifération de cellules aberrantes.
