Abstract:
(EN) An object detection device mounted on a vehicle, the device detecting an amount (distance itself, parallax in a stereo camera, etc.) equivalent to the distance to an object. The object detection device has first detection means (2R, 2L) for detecting an amount equivalent to the distance to an object, a second detection means (3) for detecting an amount equivalent to the distance to the object by a detection principle different from that of the first detection means (2R, 2L), a determination means (4) for determining whether or not the first detection means (2R, 2L) and the second detection means (3) have detected the same object, and an assessment means (4) for assessing whether or not the distance-equivalent amount detected by the second detection means (3) is to be used to asses a detection error of the distance-equivalent amount detected by the first detection means (2R, 2L).
(FR) La présente invention concerne un dispositif de détection d’objet monté sur un véhicule, conçu pour détecter une grandeur (distance elle-même, parallaxe de caméra stéréoscopique, etc.) équivalente à la distance à un objet. Le dispositif de détection d’objet comprend des premiers moyens de détection (2R, 2L) qui détectent une grandeur équivalente à la distance à un objet, un second moyen de détection (3) qui détecte une grandeur équivalente à la distance à l’objet selon un principe différent de celui utilisé par les premiers moyens de détection (2R, 2L), un moyen de détermination (4) qui détermine si les premiers moyens de détection (2R, 2L) et le second (3) ont détecté le même objet, et un moyen d’évaluation (4) qui évalue si la grandeur équivalente à la distance détectée par le second moyen (3) doit servir à vérifier l’exactitude de la grandeur détectée par les premiers moyens (2R, 2L).
(JA) 本発明に係る物体検出装置は、物体までの距離相当量(距離自体や、ステレオカメラでの視差など)を検出する車載の物体検出装置において、物体までの距離相当量を検出する第一検出手段2R,2Lと、物体までの距離相当量を第一検出手段2R,2Lとは異なる検出原理で検出する第二検出手段3と、第一検出手段2R,2Lと第二検出手段3が、同一物体を検出したか否かを判断する判断手段4と、同一の物体を検出したと判断した場合に、第二検出手段3が検出した距離相当量を、第一検出手段2R,2Lが検出した距離相当量の検出誤差の評価に用いるか否かを判定する判定手段4とを備えることを特徴としている。
