Abstract:
(EN) In an ink jet printhead have an elongate ink chamber (3) and a nozzle (5) at one end, a continuous flow of ink is provided through a high impedance channel (33) communicating with the chamber close to the nozzle. Ink is ejected through the nozzle by generating longitudinal acoustic waves in the fluid chamber. A high velocity ink flow into the chamber from the channel sweeps away from the nozzle debris or bubbles that might otherwise block the nozzle.
(FR) Une tête d'impression à jet d'encre possède une chambre d'impression allongée (3) et une buse (5) située à une extrémité; un écoulement continu d'encre se produit dans un canal de haute impédance (33) communiquant avec la chambre située à proximité de la buse. La génération d'ondes acoustiques longitudinales dans la chambre de fluide permet de projeter l'encre dans la buse. Un écoulement d'encre très rapide dans la chambre depuis le canal permet de rejeter les débris ou les bulles susceptibles de bloquer la buse à l'extérieur de cette dernière.
