Abstract:
(EN) An integrated optical device (17) comprises a first optical component (5) formed from a plurality of layers of material and a second optical component (11) formed from a plurality of layers of material. A first optical path (4) is defined in the first optical component (5) and a second optical path (12) is defined in the second optical component (11). The first optical path (4) is coupled to the second optical path (12). The first optical component (5) is arranged relative to the second optical component (11) such that there is a non-zero angle, particularly a right angle, between the layers of the first optical component (5) and the layers of the second optical component (11). The second optical path (12) directs light from the first optical path (4) in a direction substantially normal to the layers of the first optical component (5) or in a direction having at least a component normal to the layers of the first optical component (5). In this way, light can be coupled out of the plane of the first optical component (5) in a relatively simple manner.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un dispositif optique intégré (17) qui comprend un premier composant optique (5) formé à partir d’une pluralité de couches de matériau et un second composant optique (11) formé à partir d’une pluralité de couches de matériau. Un premier trajet optique (4) est défini dans le premier composant optique (5) et un second trajet optique (12) est défini dans le second composant optique (11). Le premier trajet optique (4) est couplé au second trajet optique (12). Le premier composant optique (5) est disposé par rapport au second composant optique (11) de telle manière qu’il y a un angle non-nul, en particulier un angle droit, entre les couches du premier composant optique (5) et les couches du second composant optique (11). Le second trajet optique (12) oriente une lumière en provenance du premier trajet optique (4) dans une direction pratiquement normale par rapport aux couches du premier composant optique (5) ou dans une direction ayant au moins un composant normal par rapport aux couches du premier composant optique (5). De cette façon, une lumière peut être couplée en dehors du plan du premier composant optique (5) de manière relativement simple.
