Abstract:
(EN) It is an objective of the present invention to provide an interface arrangement between a battery element (302) and an electronic device (301), e.g. a mobile phone, for reliable battery identification and for removal detection. The objectives of the invention are achieved with a combined analogue and digital interface between a battery element (302) and an electronic device (301) so that both analogue and digital data can be transferred from a battery element to an electrical device. Reliable digital authentication is used for determining if a battery element connected to an electronic device represents new battery technology. An analogue signalling scheme is used for identifying different battery elements representing older-generation battery technologies and for detecting battery removals. Digital data read from the battery element (302) may contain, for example, information for charging control, a discharge curve, and a serial number of the battery element.
(FR) L'invention concerne un dispositif d'interface entre un élément (302) de batterie et un dispositif électronique (301), par exemple un téléphone mobile, permettant d'identifier de manière fiable une batterie et de détecter un retrait. Les objectifs de l'invention sont atteints au moyen d'une interface analogique et numérique combinée entre un élément (302) de batterie et un dispositif électronique (301), de manière à pouvoir transférer des données analogiques et numériques d'un élément de batterie vers un dispositif électronique. Une authentification numérique fiable permet de déterminer si un élément de batterie connecté à un dispositif électronique est issu d'une nouvelle technologie de batterie. Un système de signalisation analogique est utilisé pour identifier différents éléments de batterie sont issus de technologies de batterie d'ancienne génération, et pour détecter des retraits de batterie. Les données numériques lues sur l'élément (302) de batterie peuvent contenir, par exemple, des informations de réglage de charge, une courbe de décharge, et un numéro de série de l'élément de batterie.
