Abstract:
(EN) A method of imparting a non-stick coating to a surface of an aluminum foil sheet, and the resulting foil sheet. The method involves coating at least part (preferably at least 40%) of an area of a surface of a metal sheet article (preferably an aluminum foil sheet) with a substantially solvent-free silicone oil at an average coating application rate in a range of 1.5 to 10 mg/ft2 of the coated surface area. The coated sheet article is then preferably coiled. The coated sheet article is then heated in the presence of air or oxygen at a temperature of 250°C or higher for a period of time of at least 10 minutes. The treated surface is both non-stick and food-friendly.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé conférant un revêtement non collant à une surface de feuille métallique en aluminium, et la feuille métallique ainsi obtenue. Le procédé consiste à revêtir au moins partiellement (de préférence au moins 40 %) la superficie de surface d'un article en feuille métallique (de préférence une feuille métallique en aluminium) avec une huile de silicone sensiblement dépourvue de solvant à un taux d'application de revêtement moyen compris dans une plage située entre 1,5 et 10 mg/ft2 de la surface revêtue. L'article en feuille revêtu est idéalement enroulé, puis chauffé en présence d'air ou d'oxygène à 250 °C ou plus pendant au moins 10 minutes. Ainsi, la surface traitée est à la fois non collante et ne présente aucun risque pour les aliments.
