Abstract:
(EN) A system for modeling, simulating and analyzing chemical and biochemical reactions includes a modeling environment for constructing a model of a chemical or biochemical system comprising a plurality of chemical reactions. Each chemical reaction has a probability distribution associated therewith based on the kinetics of the particular chemical reaction. The probability distribution may be set by a user, determined automatically, or experimentally determined. The system also includes a simulation engine accepting as input said constructed model of the chemical or biochemical system and generating as output an expected result. The simulation engine calculates a reaction time for each chemical reaction based on the probability distribution associated with the particular chemical reaction. An analysis environment communicates with the simulation engine and displays the expected result.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système permettant de modéliser, simuler et analyser des réactions chimiques et biochimiques. Ce système comprend un environnement de modélisation permettant de construire un modèle de système chimique et biochimique comprenant une pluralité de réactions chimiques. Chaque réaction chimique possède une distribution de probabilités qui lui est associée en fonction de la cinétique de la réaction chimique particulière. La distribution de probabilités peut être établie par un utilisateur, déterminée automatiquement ou déterminée expérimentalement. Le système comprend également un moteur de simulation acceptant une entrée de modèle construit du système chimique ou biochimique et produisant une sortie de résultat attendu. Le moteur de simulation calcule un temps de réaction pour chaque réaction chimique en fonction de la distribution de probabilités associée à la réaction chimique particulière. Un environnement d'analyse communique avec le moteur de simulation et affiche le résultat attendu.
