7. The adjustable shelving system of claim 6, wherein the second end of the bracket comprises a hook shaped to receive a portion of the shelf.

8. The adjustable shelving system of claim 6, wherein the bracket also has a stop limiting an amount of insertion of the first end within the aperture.

9. The adjustable shelving system of claim 6, wherein the first end of the bracket is shaped to prevent rotation of the first end within the aperture.

10. The adjustable shelving system of claim 9, wherein:
the bracket is elongated along an axis; and
the first end of the bracket comprises a protrusion extending away from the axis.

11. A bracket for supporting a shelf on a support post, the bracket comprising:
a first portion extending about and removably secured to the support post at a location along the support post; and
a second portion extending outwardly from the first portion and adapted to
support a shelf thereupon;
wherein the first portion is movable to and releasably securable to different
locations along the support post to support a shelf at different heights on
the support post.

12. The bracket of claim 11 , wherein the first portion is a collar that can be opened and closed via a hinge.

13. The bracket of claim 12, wherein the hinge is a live hinge.

14. The bracket of claim 11 , further comprising an aperture defined in the first portion and in which the second portion is removably received.

15. The bracket of claim 11 , wherein the collar comprises a fastener that can be releasably fastened to secure the collar to support post.

16. The bracket of claim 11 , wherein the second portion comprises a hook.

17. The bracket of claim 11 , wherein the first and second portions are integral with respect to one another.

18. The bracket of claim 14, wherein:
