Abstract:
(EN) A process for the oxidation of hydrocarbons comprises contacting the hydrocarbon with an oxygen-containing gas in the presence of a catalyst comprising a microporous solid support, preferably a zeolite, having from 8- to 12-ring open windows and comprising non-framework metal cations selected from manganese, iron, cobalt, vanadium, chromium, copper, nickel, and ruthenium, and mixtures thereof, providing that the oxygen-containing gas does not contain significant amounts of added hydrogen. The catalyst is novel and forms part of the invention. The process may be used for oxidation of alkanes, cycloalkanes, benzene and alkylbenzenes, and is suitable for use in regioselective terminal oxidation of straight chain alkanes and for selective oxidation/separation of p- dialkylbenzenes from an alkylbenzene mixture, for example, p-xylene from an isomeric mixture of xylenes.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé pour l'oxydation d'hydrocarbures comprenant mettre en contact l'hydrocarbure avec un gaz contenant de l'oxygène en présence d'un catalyseur comprenant un support solide microporeux, de préférence une zéolite, ayant des fenêtres ouvertes à 8 à 12 cycles et comprenant des cations de métaux n'appartenant pas au squelette sélectionnés entre le manganèse, le fer, le cobalt, le vanadium, le chrome, le cuivre, le nickel et le ruthénium et des mélanges de ceux-ci, à condition que le gaz contenant de l'oxygène ne contienne pas de quantités importantes d'hydrogène ajouté. Le catalyseur est nouveau et constitue une partie de l'invention. Le procédé peut être utilisé pour l'oxydation d'alcanes, de cycloalcanes, du benzène et d'alkylbenzènes et il convient pour être utilisé dans l'oxydation terminale régiosélective d'alcanes à chaîne linéaire et pour l'oxydation/la séparation sélective de p-dialkylbenzènes d'un mélange d'alkylbenzènes, par exemple du p-xylène d'un mélange isomérique de xylènes.
