Abstract:
(EN) Calibration constants unique to a particular sensor are derived and stored in a memory with which the sensor is associated and then read from the memory and used to provide compensation for data readings (14). Calibration constants may be derived and stored in the memory following installation of the sensor in an item to be monitored (14).
(FR) Selon la présente invention, des constantes d'étalonnage propres à un capteur donné sont dérivées et stockées dans une mémoire associée au capteur, puis lues à partir de la mémoire et utilisées pour obtenir une compensation pour des relevés de données (14). Ces constantes d'étalonnage peuvent être dérivées et stockées dans la mémoire après l'installation du capteur dans un article à contrôler (14).
