Abstract:
(EN) The present invention relates to a reactor for mixing and reacting two or more fluids as well as transferring heat between said fluids. Said reactor comprises a pressure vessel (g) having at least one inlet and one outlet and which enclose a multi-channel monolithic structure (f), a manifold assembly (b) sealed to one end of said structure where the channel openings are, for feeding fluid to said structure and discharging fluid from said structure, a means (h) sealed to the opposite end of said structure where said manifold assembly is sealed, for changing the direction of fluid flow path 180 degrees when said flow leaves the channels in said structure. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a method for operating said reactor.
(FR) L'invention concerne un réacteur destiné au mélange et à la réaction de deux ou plusieurs fluides, ainsi qu'au transfert de chaleur entre lesdits fluides. Le réacteur comprend une cuve à pression (g) ayant au moins une entrée et une sortie, et enfermant une structure monolithique multi-canaux (f), un ensemble collecteur (b) scellé à une extrémité de ladite structure où se trouvent les ouvertures des canaux, pour alimenter en fluide ladite structure et évacuer le fluide de cette structure, des moyens (h) scellés à l'extrémité opposée de ladite structure, où ledit ensemble collecteur est scellé, en vue de changer de 180° la direction du trajet d'écoulement de fluide lorsque ledit écoulement abandonne les canaux dans ladite structure. L'invention concerne également un procédé permettant de faire fonctionner le réacteur précité.
